On June 16, 2017, the Official Journal of the European Union issued three directives (EU) 2017/1009, (EU) 2017/1010, and (EU) 2017/1011, amending exemption clauses 9 (b), 13 (a), and 13 (b) in Annex III of RoHS, covering lead in compressor bearing shells and bushings, as well as lead and cadmium in optical glass. The revised directive will take effect on the 20th day after the release of OJ.This revision mainly involves further subdivision of the use of exempted materials and adding exemption periods based on the subdivision categories.Revised content

On June 15, 2016, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued a memorandum and re review resolution (ET Docket 13-44), announcing an extension of the transition period for the FCC 14-208 RF equipment authorization rules by one year, effective July 13, 2017.
