Do you think
What is the lowest level of human demand for WiFi?
Too young!
The lowest level of human demand is battery power!
Currently, products such as mobile phones use lithium batteries
Lithium battery as a lifesaver for mobile phones
You need to know something else
Flammable and explosive
In terms of safety, lithium-ion batteries have long been criticized. Especially the explosion accident of Samsung mobile phones pushed lithium-ion batteries to the forefront of the situation.
Because lithium is a metal that is particularly prone to chemical reactions, it is prone to elongation and combustion. Improper handling of lithium battery packaging and transportation can lead to combustion and explosion, and accidents can also occur from time to time. The accidents caused by non-standard behavior in packaging and transportation are increasingly receiving attention. Multiple international institutions have issued multiple regulations, and management agencies are becoming increasingly strict, increasing operational requirements and constantly modifying regulations and regulations.
Therefore, as a lithium battery production enterprise, ensuring the transportation and use safety of batteries is particularly important. So, what certifications are required for lithium batteries when exporting? The editor has compiled some materials to facilitate a simple understanding of lithium battery certification.
In order to ensure the safety of air transportation and meet the transportation needs of customers for goods containing lithium batteries, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the International Air Transport Association's Dangerous Goods Regulations, a rechargeable lithium battery operation specification, namely UN38.3 (UNDOT) testing, has been developed.
UN38.3 testing items generally include:
High simulation test, thermal test, vibration test, impact test, external short circuit test, collision test, overcharging test, forced discharge test.
IEC62133 is the most important international standard for lithium-ion batteries and an important basis for IECEE-CB certification. At present, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India and other countries have adopted IEC 62133 to develop their own national standards, which have become an important basis for market access in these countries.
The IEC 62133 test items include:
Continuous low rate charging, vibration, high temperature mold shell stress, high and low temperature cycling, reverse charging (nickel battery), external short circuit, free drop, mechanical impact, thermal abuse, extrusion, low voltage, overcharging (different from nickel battery and lithium battery), forced discharge, high rate charging.
MSDS, also known as the Chemical Safety User Manual, is a document describing the physical and chemical characteristics (such as pH value, flash point, flammability, reactivity, etc.) of a chemical and the potential hazards to the health of users (such as carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, etc.).
When transporting products with batteries, freight or shipping companies require MSDS reports. Without MSDS officials, they cannot send them because they will not produce MSDS documents for you.
Suitable for Japan, mainly for safety and performance testing.
The mandatory PSE certification requirements for batteries include:
Batteries with an energy density exceeding 400Wh/L; Must be a lithium-ion battery, except for use in medical devices; Lithium ion batteries for industrial equipment and automotive/motorcycle applications.
