Without CEC MAEDbS registration, sales in California will not be possible. Once the seller completes MAEDbS registration, sales will automatically resume.

In July 2021, CEC officially announced the new Title20 Electrical Energy Efficiency Regulations CEC-140-2021-002, which added the requirement that regulated products must meet market regulatory requirements for circulation and sales in the California market.
