Does the factory provide a document on employment relationships for each employee?
The document must be a formal letter, contract, or other valid written document.
The factory needs to keep the original documents signed with employees and provide a copy to the employees.
The content of the employment relationship document should include the following:
Salary amount and calculation method of salary
-Benefits
-Payment method
-Calculation of normal working hours and overtime wages
-Food and accommodation expenses
-Employment period
-Deductions, fines, and disciplinary penalties
Does the factory have sufficient trained and qualified EHS professionals?
The factory should have at least one trained and qualified EHS professional.
Note: Each EHS professional must have at least one year of EHS experience or complete at least two EHS courses.
According to local regulations, the factory should have an appropriate number of EHS personnel who should hold national required certificates. Safety Science and Technology Research Center of the National Administration of Work Safety http://www.chinasafety.gov.cn/ .
Interim Regulations on Safety in Workplace of Chemical and Machinery Industries, Article 11.
If the number of employees in the factory exceeds 1000, there should be at least 2 EHS employees. The number of EHS employees must be equal to or greater than 0.2% of the total number of employees.
EHS employees must have received at least 120 hours of training before taking up their positions to communicate and pass corresponding inspections.
