NBC Universal Certified
NBCU Factory Inspection, also known as NBC Universal Studios, mainly conducts factory inspections in the areas of human rights, environment, health and safety, and is audited by a single designated auditing agency.

We expect all product suppliers from NBC Global to make the same commitment as us. We require all product suppliers of NBC Global to meet at least the following standards:
Child labor
NBC global suppliers should not hire child labor. Factories that hire minors under the age of 16 will be considered a violation of the code of conduct and may terminate the contract immediately as appropriate.
Forced labor
Suppliers cannot force employees to engage in involuntary labor, whether through imprisonment, guarantees, contracts, or any other means.
Harassment
Respect every employee and refrain from using force, punishing or abusing them.
Non discriminatory
Suppliers should apply the principle of fair employment and not affect salaries, benefits, promotions, and contract termination due to the employee's race, religion, age, nationality, social or ethical standards, gender, political views, or physical disability.
Association
Suppliers should respect the rights of employees to form associations and collective bargaining, and should not punish them.
Health and Safety
Suppliers should comply with all applicable laws and regulations to provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment. This requirement also applies to employee dormitories.
Welfare benefits
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding wages and working hours, including minimum wages, overtime, maximum overtime hours, and other benefits, and provide legal benefits. If local laws do not provide for overtime pay, suppliers must pay at least normal wages to overtime workers. Employees have the right to rest every seven days.
Environmental protection
Suppliers are required to comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, including local and national ones.
Improper payment
Suppliers are required to comply with all laws regarding improper or illegal payments, and do not agree, promise, or authorize the payment of any money or provision of any value to NBC Global auditors during the audit process.
Monitoring and compliance
Suppliers should authorize NBC Global and designated partners (including third parties) to conduct monitoring activities to ensure compliance with this code of conduct, including on-site monitoring of suppliers and employee dormitories, reviewing records related to employment and interviews. Suppliers need to save and provide all documents to ensure compliance.
