Common management system issues in WCA factory inspection
Based on recent years of factory inspection and jury experience, WCA's audit factories generally have the following issues:
1. There is no written social responsibility policy;
2. Failure to establish a written system to identify and supervise the collection and implementation of laws and regulations;
3. Failure to establish internal social responsibility standards and procedures, and failure to conduct social responsibility reviews on suppliers and subcontractors;
4. Failure to conduct regular internal social responsibility audits;
5. Failure to take corresponding corrective and preventive measures to prevent issues related to social responsibility;
6. Failure to conduct a social responsibility management review;
7. There is no definition and authorization of social responsibility responsibilities;
8. Failure to appoint a management representative in terms of social responsibility;
9. Failure to provide training on the implementation of social responsibility to management;
10. There is no written procedure established to evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers in terms of social responsibility;
11. No designated environmental management representative;
12. Failure to establish an environmental management system;
13. There is no environmental impact registration form and environmental impact assessment acceptance
The final results of the WCA audit are divided into four levels, namely: 85 points and above; 71-84 points; 51-70 points; 50 points or less. The highest level of WCA factory inspection audit is 85 points or above;
At present, there are mainly DOLLOR GENERAL (D&G) requirements to meet this requirement; Many foreign customers only require a score of 71-84 to be accepted; Some customers even require a score of 51 or above.
The WCA audit checklist divides each problem point into the following levels: CRITICAL; Major; MODERATE; Minor;

WCA is a brand new social responsibility audit system, which is created to enable customers to understand the measures taken by factories in fulfilling their social responsibilities, future plans, and other situations
Document Checklist for WCA Audit (China)
1. Timecards or Attendance Records (Last 12 Months). If electronics time card is used, the auditor may need to review the time record directly from the computer, with the assistance from the factory staff.If manual attendance record is used, employees’ signature is required at least once a month for verification.
2. Payroll Records (Last 12 months)
3. Employee Roster and Employee Personnel Records (including I.D. card copy)
4. Labor Contract
5. Social Insurance Receipts, Name List, Social Insurance Local Policy or Qualified Certificate, etc.
6. Business Registration
7. Construction Project Fire Safety Acceptance Document or Fire Safety Inspection Certificate
8. Fire Drill Record, Emergency Evacuation Plan1 Work Accident Records and Work-related Injury Record
9. Special Appliance Safety Operation Certificate/ Calibration Report such as Lift, Lifting Appliance, Forklift, Boiler
and Compressing Equipment including Gas Cylinders, Gauge and Safety Valve).
10. Special Appliance Operator Certificate such as Lift Operator, Lifting Appliance Operator and Forklift Driver,
