Environmental RoHS testing
Product introduction:
Summary of Certification ContentIn order to control the pollution of electronic and electrical waste to the ecological environment, in February 2003, the European Union issued the 2002/95/EC directive on January 27, 2003, namely the 'Directive on Prohibiting the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Equipment' (referred to as the RoHS directive). This directive stipulates that from July 1, 2006, electronic and electrical products entering the EU market are prohibited from using six categories of hazardous substances. On July 21, 2011, RoHS 2.0, the revised version of the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU), replaced the old version of the RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC), and EU member states must update RoHS 2.0 to local laws by January 2, 2013.
